Permits to work work along side our Authorisation-to-Work / Contractor Pass product. The range of permits-to-work are specifically designed to help you meet all the requirements in allowing regulated work to be carried out ensuring that an effective risk assessment is carried out and that any appropriate action is taken. This action is imperative to make sure the risk of injury, illness or damage to property is minimised.

Choose from our standard range of 13 permits or create your own personalised set of permits.

We have standard permits to cover the following:

• Hot Work - e.g. welding, soldering and brazing
  
• Working at Heights - covers any work in which you are not on the ground e.g. working on the roof, up a ladder or scaffold tower replacing light bulbs etc
  
• Confined Spaces - covers work carried out in a confined space such as repairing a boiler or lift
  
• Electrical - covers any work involving electrical wires, sockets or appliances
  
• General - covers any general maintenance work
  
• Pressure testing - a risk assessment for testing the pressure of boilers and similar work
  
• Excavation - for example, when laying new drains or when any digging is required
  
• Window Cleaning - important to be used when a window cleaner is employed
  
• Lifting equipment - a risk assessment to be used when any lifting equipment such as mini cranes, pulleys or hoists are brought on to your site
  
• Overhead cranes - for the safe operation of pendant cranes
  
• Breaking lines - covers any work concerning the supply of gas
  
• Hazardous Substances - an important risk assessment for working with or near hazardous substances as a spark from a tool used could ignite any nearby chemicals
  
• Asbestos Present - to be used when working where asbestos is known to exist

Permit systems come in 3 part sets providing a copy for your file, your contractor and the point of issue.

All permits have printed warning signs on reverse to be displayed at the point of work to be displayed in our tough grade wallets.
